Looking for a successor for your hotel or guesthouse?

If there is no successor within the family or you would like to step back from the business, we assess a personal and structured takeover for hotels, guesthouses and similar properties with approximately 3 to 50 units.

Different ways to hand over a property

Depending on the property and your goals, we assess a long-term lease, acquisition or an individually structured handover.

Properties we assess

Our preferred corridor is approximately 3 to 50 rooms or units and around 200 to 2,000 m² gross floor area in Central Germany, Berlin and viable surrounding markets.

How a potential succession starts

We start with key facts, assess the property and operating context, and only then discuss a realistic model and timetable.

Frequently asked questions

Initial guidance for owners considering a handover.

Which hotels and guesthouses are suitable for succession?

We primarily assess hotels, guesthouses, aparthotels, boarding houses and apartment buildings with approximately 3 to 50 units. A viable location, efficient layout and realistic economic outlook are decisive.

Do I have to sell my property?

No. Depending on the situation, a long-term lease, acquisition of the property or business, or an agreed handover may be considered. The right model is determined only after a joint assessment.

Can the business continue during the handover?

A transition while the property remains open can be assessed. Whether and how this is practical depends on bookings, the team, technical systems and the agreed timeframe.

Is an initial enquiry confidential?

Yes. We treat an initial enquiry confidentially. Before sensitive business documents are shared, the scope and confidentiality of the assessment can be agreed explicitly.

Do you assess smaller towns and surrounding areas?

Yes. Population alone is not decisive. Smaller towns and well-connected surrounding areas can be suitable where several stable demand drivers and a viable micro-location are present.

What information do you need initially?

The location, property type, number of units, approximate floor area, current use and preferred timeframe are enough to begin. Floor plans, operating figures and further documents can then be discussed specifically.
